Diana Williams is the CEO & Co-founder of Kinetic Energy Entertainment, a next-generation entertainment and venture studio that’s pioneering the evolution of storytelling and IP development across multiple media platforms. Kinetic partners with creators at the intersection of story and technology who are not just pushing boundaries, but reimagining what’s possible.

Prior to Kinetic, Diana was the Creative Development and Franchise Producer at Lucasfilm for the Star Wars universe across all media. While at Lucasfilm she helped launch the Academy Award© winning ILMxLAB, an immersive entertainment and VR/AR/mixed reality lab. She is an award-winning producer who has also consulted with brands, tech companies, studios and streamers.

Currently serving as the Chair of the Interactive Board of Jurors for digital and immersive storytelling for the Peabody Award, Diana is also on the Strategic Planning Committee of The National Academy of Sciences’s Science and Entertainment Exchange; the advisory committee for the Royal Shakespeare Company/Digital development; and the boards of Diverso, The Overlook Festival (genre film and immersive festival), and The Immersive Experience Institute for interactive and immersive events, theater, and creators.

A graduate of Georgetown University, Diana began her career in the entertainment industry as an Assistant Director and is a member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA) and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).
